Jude is an RYT 200 yoga instructor, with additional training as a Western Herbalist, using botanical medicine to assist those with healing without the use of pharmaceuticals. He completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Spirit of Yoga in Tempe, and a 700 hour Western Herbalism program with JoAnn Sanchez at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe. Combining the two modalities, his efforts are focused on helping students and clients to activate their body’s natural healing faculties to achieve a vibrant, healthy life.
Michael's teaching weaves explorations of meditation and developing intuition with a challenging physical practice emphasizing strength, flexibility, and alignment.
Michael Tucker began studying yoga in 1997 in the Kundalini tradition in order to add a component of physical movement to his devotional practice. He has also practiced intensively in the Bikram and Anusara styles, completing 200-hour teacher training programs in the heart-centered practice of Anusara yoga in 2006 with Christy Burnette and in 2007 at Desert Song Yoga.
Shane set out on a path to a healthier lifestyle in 2013 by becoming a Western Herbalist and Yoga Teacher. She has specialized training in Restorative Yoga with Mary Bruce, Yin Yoga with Joe Barnett, and under the teaching of Duane Armitage she is also a certified Gong Master.
Shane’s yoga journey begin with the hope that it would be a helpful tool to deal with her body issues. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that no matter what part of the journey you are on, yoga meets you where you are, so remember we are not learning nothing new, we are simply awakening what we already know.
Jen received her 200 hour YTT yoga training through Yoga Alliance in Costa Rica and has become an Amrit technique certified Yoga Nidra facilitator through Southwest Institute for Healing Arts program. She has taught Yoga Nidra at several yoga retreats in Costa Rica, and offers small group and private classes. Jen has a gift of connecting with her students, helping them identify their strengths, find the courage and motivation to let their unique light shine through. Jen loves to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, sharing her passion for yoga and Yoga Nidra with as many beautiful souls as possible.
Danae came to yoga asana via significant physical injury. Based in her own learning and recovery, her classes are infused with a deep recognition of each student’s inherent ability to overcome physical and psychological limitations. Classes emphasize radical empowerment using physical integration, spiritual investigation, steady effort and much humor
As a certified Jivamukti Teacher since 2009, she realized Jivamukti yoga integrated elements of activism, spiritual practices and compassionate action. Danae has participated as a class assistant at Wanderlust Festival (Lake Tahoe, CA, Vancouver BC), Asia Yoga Conference (Hong Kong), Yoga Journal Conference (San Francisco).
